Asus is putting the brakes on its RTX 5070 Ti graphics card production due to supply issues, according to a report from Hardware Unboxed. They stated that Asus had declared this model as reaching its end of life. The same is true for the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti, and retailers in Australia have been struggling to find stock.
Ben Berraondo, Nvidia’s PR director for GeForce, assured The Verge that Nvidia is still manufacturing these GPUs. He noted, “Demand for GeForce RTX GPUs is strong, and memory supply is constrained. We continue to ship all GeForce SKUs and are working closely with our suppliers to maximize memory availability.”
But it seems that the challenges faced by Asus might not apply to all manufacturers. PNY’s representative, Michael Farino, confirmed that their Dual-Slot Slim RTX 5070 Ti is on track to ship in February. This model was introduced at CES and will be available at major retailers like Best Buy and Amazon.
