Some things are just not okay, like swiping someone else’s ice cream.
In Wisconsin, a 4-year-old boy found himself in a sticky situation when his mom did just that. To teach her a lesson, he decided to call 911.
Last Tuesday in Mount Pleasant, police received a call that hung up. The little boy had called to report that his mom needed to be locked up for stealing his ice cream, according to local police.
“My mommy is being bad,” he told the dispatcher during the call. When asked what was happening, he insisted, “Come and get my mommy.”
His mom quickly took the phone away, trying to explain to the dispatcher, “Oh, this little one got the phone, and he’s four.” Yet, her son was still arguing his case in the background.
She then confessed, “I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911.” Clearly, the little boy was upset.
Police arrived at their home to make sure everything was alright and that the ice cream incident wasn’t hiding something more serious.
When they got there, the boy once again demanded that his mom go to jail for eating his ice cream. But after some discussion, he changed his mind and decided he didn’t want his mom behind bars. All he really wanted was some ice cream.
In a sweet turn of events, two days later, the police officers showed up with a special treat. They surprised the boy with two scoops of ice cream sprinkled with blue toppings, bringing a big smile to his face.
