These improvements are making a noticeable impact. The Vande Bharat services aim to reduce congestion on popular routes while maintaining affordable fares. In fact, over 3 crore passengers used these trains during the 2024-25 period, with nearly 93 lakh traveling in just the first quarter of 2025.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated a new route between Bengaluru and Belagavi.
