Google has launched a new app called “Theme Packs” on the Play Store, aimed at letting you personalize your Pixel device with just one tap. This app allows users to change their wallpaper, icons, sounds, and more, all based on seasonal themes.
With Theme Packs, you can refresh your device’s look and feel quickly. The first theme pack is titled Wicked: For Good! and features three different styles: “For Good,” “Glinda,” and “Elphaba.”
The app icon is a colorful swatch on a vibrant purple background. Once you install it, you’ll need to find it in the Wallpaper & Style section. Users can preview theme packs before downloading, and then choose what elements they want to apply—like sounds or wallpapers.
The app is compatible with devices starting from the Pixel 7 and was made available on November 4, 2025. However, it’s still unclear when the themes will fully roll out. Recently, Google issued a second security patch for October 2025, which might affect updates.
The idea of customization isn’t new, but it reflects a growing trend.
