This Saturday, January 18, over 30 groups will gather for a free event titled “Our Projects for 2025, Envisioning the World We Want.” It will take place at the Second Congregational Church, near the Greenfield Common. Everyone is welcome to join in!

The event kicks off at 12:15 p.m. with music and speakers who will tackle important topics such as immigration, reproductive rights, climate change, and local mutual aid. Rev. Kate Stevens from Ashfield will deliver the keynote address, weaving together these diverse issues.
In the Community Hall, attendees can explore various organizations that have developed through years of community involvement. This is a great chance to learn more about their work. A simple lunch will be provided, thanks to contributions from participants.
Planning for this event began shortly after the elections last November. As many citizens felt disillusioned by the political climate, the focus shifted to fostering a positive vision for the future. Our gathering stands in contrast to negative narratives. We aim for a world where everyone is valued and supported, especially the most vulnerable. We believe in strong childcare, healthcare, and education systems as essential to everyone’s well-being. We also advocate for the care and protection of our planet, recognizing it as our only home.
Join us this Saturday as we work together to create a brighter future for all.
