Meghan Markle has made a significant move in her business journey. She recently revealed a new name for her lifestyle brand: As Ever. This replaces her previous name, America Riviera Orchard.

According to a former royal staff member, Meghan faced challenges with her initial name. There were various other brands with similar names, leading to complications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Grant Harrold, who served as a butler to King Charles, mentioned that Meghan needed to act fast to avoid further issues.

Harrold explained, “She was going to stick with America Riviera Orchard, but she had to change it.” He noted that Meghan felt the old name was limiting her but hinted that trademark problems might be the bigger issue. Now, with the name As Ever, she aims to reconnect with her pre-royal career.

Harrold also shared, “This kind of name change isn’t unusual in business.” He suggested that Meghan might have preferred to keep the original name if circumstances had allowed it. The new name suggests a return to her roots and the type of work she did before marrying Prince Harry.

In addition to her brand launch, Meghan is gearing up for her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. This venture marks her continuing journey in the lifestyle space.
