Don’t Miss Out: Black Sabbath Reunion Tickets Fly Off the Shelves!

Fans of Black Sabbath were thrilled to grab tickets for a special concert in Birmingham, celebrating the band’s original lineup for the first time in 20 years. This one-night-only event marks an important moment as frontman Ozzy Osbourne prepares to retire from touring.

The concert will take place on July 5 at Aston Villa Football Club’s Villa Park. Alongside Ozzy, classic members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward will reunite to play their hits, bringing the musical journey full circle. This venue holds special significance, as it’s where Black Sabbath began their career in 1968.

Joining them at the show will be renowned rock bands Metallica and Slayer, along with a special solo performance by Ozzy himself. It’s being promoted as Ozzy’s “final bow” at the age of 76.

Ozzy announced the presale on Facebook, and tickets sold out within half an hour, despite some fans experiencing website issues. Ticketmaster reported there were no technical problems, but many eager fans were left disappointed. Additional presale opportunities will be available for Aston Villa season ticket holders before the main ticket sale on Friday.

Reflecting on his roots, Ozzy said, “It’s time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

Black Sabbath’s impact on music is immense, with over 75 million albums sold worldwide, often credited as pioneers of heavy metal. Their music continues to inspire countless fans and musicians around the globe.

This concert isn’t just about music; all profits will support charities including Cure Parkinson’s and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Ozzy’s battle with Parkinson’s disease has altered his touring plans, leading to this final show. His wife, Sharon, emphasized the importance of this event, stating, “This is his full stop.”
