It’s general voting day for Penticton’s by-election! Seven candidates are competing for one city council seat, a position vacated by MLA Amelia Boultbee.
Before today, 1,229 ballots were cast during the two-day advance voting period. Polls are now open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, located at 273 Power St. Results will be announced shortly after polls close, and you can catch them live on Zoom at 8 p.m.

- Bradley Bartsch
- Juliana Buitenhuis
- Jason Reynen
- Ankit Sachdeva
- Nick Stulberg
- Riley Thompson
They all participated in a public forum on March 13 at Cleland Theatre, discussing their visions for the city.
