The latest MacBook Air features Apple’s new M4 chip and a fresh “sky blue” color option. As usual, it comes with a matching charging cable. But guess what? You don’t need to buy the new MacBook to snag a sky blue USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable.
Apple’s New Sky Blue USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable
The sky blue cable hit Apple’s online store shortly after the M4 MacBook Air launch. This cable isn’t just a replacement for a lost or broken one. Many people like to mix things up with different colors.
You can use this USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable with the M2 MacBook Air and newer models, including the Apple Silicon MacBook Pro with the MagSafe port, starting from the M1 Pro.
Sky blue is a lighter shade compared to the darker “midnight” color. Apple describes it as a “beautiful, metallic light blue” that looks different depending on the light, sometimes appearing grayish.
This cable is 2 meters long and costs $49. Besides sky blue, you can also choose from space gray, midnight, starlight, black, and white. Keep in mind, though, that it does not include a power adapter, so you’ll need to use your own.
