Great news for train travelers! The Indian Railways is launching a new Vande Bharat Express connecting New Delhi and Patna. This special train is designed for the Holi festival, running from March 8 to March 21 to help accommodate the growing number of passengers heading home. It will cover around 1,000 km in less than 12 hours.
The train will make stops at popular locations such as Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ballia, Chhapra, and Patliputra Junction. It aims to provide a convenient travel experience during the festive season.
Ticket bookings started on March 6, and the train will operate with specific timings. For the route from New Delhi to Patna, train number 02436 will depart at 8:30 AM and arrive in Patna at 10:30 PM. On the return trip, train number 02435 will leave Patna at 5:30 AM and reach New Delhi by 8:10 PM.
Some of the key stops on this route include Ghaziabad, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Varanasi, and Ghazipur City. The train aims to make traveling between Delhi and Bihar faster and more efficient.
There are two classes available for passengers:
- AC Chair Car: Rs 2,575
- Executive Chair Car: Rs 4,655
This gives travelers the option to choose based on comfort and budget.
Overall, the new Vande Bharat Express is set to enhance travel options significantly during this festive time, making it easier for people to reach their loved ones.
