Google said at Google I/O 2026 that it is making AI more helpful across its products, with new models, agent features and expanded Gemini integration.
The company said it is releasing two new models, Gemini Omni and Gemini 3.5. Gemini Omni can create anything from any input, starting with video, and is described as a step forward in world understanding, multimodality and editing. Gemini 3.5 Flash is described as the first model in its latest family to combine frontier intelligence with action.
Google also highlighted changes to Google Antigravity, its agent-first development platform. The company said the updates move beyond AI tools that help people write, toward agents that help people act.
It said these agents will be available across its products, including Information agents in Search, Gemini Spark and Daily Brief in the Gemini app, and Universal Cart, which it described as a truly intelligent shopping cart.
Google said it is also scaling Gemini across products such as Google Pics, intelligent eyewear and Ask YouTube, extending the system to new experiences and form factors.
