Rep. Randy Fine, a Florida Republican and known advocate for Israel, announced that the university acted quickly in response to the incident. He stated, “It only took one call. She has been suspended pending an expulsion hearing and has been banned from campus.” He emphasized that Florida does not tolerate such behavior.

Florida State University confirmed the event and noted an ongoing investigation.
