Arkansas Tech University is kicking off its 2025-26 academic year with an exciting series of events for Welcome Week. This time is all about connecting students with each other and the university.
The first day of classes is set for Wednesday, August 20. Students can look forward to a mix of activities designed to help them settle in and engage with campus life.

- Taco Trivia Night at Hull Building Student Union, 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 20
- First Day Frenzy at Hindsman Tower, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Spiritual Connections at various locations, 5-8 p.m.
- Recreation Fest at Intramural Fields, 8-10 p.m.
Thursday, August 21
- Meet the Greeks at Hindsman Tower, 7 p.m.
- Reel Nights at Hull Building Student Union, 9 p.m.
Friday, August 22
- The Great Game at Hindsman Tower, 6 p.m.
Saturday, August 23
- Tech Trek 5K: Ride, Run, Walk at Clary Pickleball Courts, 8 a.m.
- Block Party in Downtown Russellville, time TBD.
- Green and Gold Football Scrimmage at Simmons Bank Field at Thone Stadium, 7 p.m.
