According to a recent poll by Savanta, 80% of parents with school-aged children reported negative behaviors linked to excessive social media use. This survey included 611 respondents and suggests a growing concern about the impact of technology on children.

The Liberal Democrats are advocating for measures like a “doomscrolling cap” to limit how much time kids can spend on social media.
