What is VHRC?

The VHRC offers both walk-in and scheduled appointments. You can get assistance with setting up your VA-loaned devices, learn how to use the VA Video Connection (VVC), and even conduct test calls with Telehealth staff. Whether you’re facing connection issues or just need guidance, the VHRC aims to make your experience smooth and easy.

Where and When Can You Visit?

To find the VHRC, enter through the main doors, turn left into Registration, and look for the desk on your right. The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, providing support whenever you need it.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth means using technology to improve care for Veterans. Through VA Telehealth Services, you can access medical support from the comfort of your home, no matter when or where you need it.

Who Can Use VVC?

If you’re a Veteran with an internet connection and a smart device—like a smartphone, tablet, or laptop—you can use the VVC. Some Veterans may even be eligible for a VA-loaned device, especially if they lack internet access. A VA social worker can assist in determining eligibility for these devices.

How to Schedule an Appointment?

Accessing Your Appointments

You can keep track of your VA video appointments through your MyHealtheVet account. You’ll receive email reminders and can easily click a link to join your video visit. For online information, visit www.myhealth.va.gov.

The VHRC is a welcoming space for Veterans, their families, and caregivers. Many Veterans come in multiple times for support, like Rob Johnson, a U.S. Navy Veteran, who shared, “I returned more than once for help with my tablet. After getting assistance, using it became much easier.” He highlights that while some may feel hesitant to seek help, the center’s environment makes it simple and comfortable to get the support you need.

Our staff at the VHRC is dedicated to helping you, regardless of your tech skills. Emma Birckbichler, a Telehealth Clinical Technician, emphasizes the goal: “We want to meet you where you are with your technology needs to ensure you feel confident using tools like VA Video Visits and My HealtheVet.”
