The Hunger Games universe is expanding! Emmy nominee Lili Taylor, known for her roles in Outer Range and American Crime, is joining the cast of the upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. She will portray Mags, a former champion and mentor from District 12.
This follows the announcement that Maya Hawke will play Wiress, another champion-turned-mentor. The cast also features Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy and Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird. Mckenna Grace will take on the role of Maysilee Donner, Jesse Plemons will be Plutarch Heavensbee, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. is set to play Beetee.

Taylor, who has a diverse portfolio, will also be seen in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again and Netflix’s Fear Street: Prom Queen. Her ongoing projects highlight her versatility and sustained popularity.
The excitement for The Hunger Games continues to grow as fans look forward to diving back into this gripping story filled with intrigue and competition.
