A Trinity University football coach is in anguish, searching for his young daughter, Kellyanne, who went missing during devastating floods at Camp Mystic in Texas. The floods tragically claimed at least 80 lives.

Wade Lytal, the coach, took to social media with a heartfelt plea: “Asking for all prayers for a miracle for my baby girl Kellyanne.” He shared a touching video of her performing a solo at a school Christmas pageant, highlighting her fearless spirit.

Kellyanne was at Camp Mystic, a girls’ camp in Central Texas, when rising waters engulfed her cabin, sweeping away several campers and counselors.

Currently, about 400 first responders are on the ground, searching for 11 girls and a counselor still unaccounted for. Sheriff Larry Leitha reported that more than 850 people were rescued within just 36 hours after heavy rainfall flooded the area.

The tragedy has heavily impacted Kerr County, where at least 68 people lost their lives, alongside victims from neighboring areas. Among those identified are a high school soccer coach, his wife, and a beloved teacher. Sadly, five girls from Camp Mystic, aged 8 and 9, and the camp’s owner are also among the deceased.

As the search continues, officials face challenges such as downed trees and debris blocking pathways. The urgency to find missing individuals remains a priority. When questioned about evacuation protocols prior to the flood, officials refrained from providing answers, highlighting the complexity of emergency response in such situations.
