Tyler, the Creator is gearing up to release his latest album, “Don’t Tap the Glass,” on July 21. Fans have been buzzing about this announcement, especially after Tyler teased something special was coming.
Recently, his website, Golf Wang, revealed new merchandise linked to the album. There are vinyl records, t-shirts, and hats featuring the album’s title, so it’s clear he’s excited for the launch.
At a recent concert in Brooklyn, Tyler confirmed the album title while performing. Fans even got a sneak peek of the cover art on display at the venue.
This album marks Tyler’s ninth release, following “Chromakopia” from last year. Just like this new project, “Chromakopia” was announced only two weeks before its debut. That album included collaborations with artists like Doechii and Childish Gambino and kicked off a world tour with Lil Yachty and Paris Texas.
During the “Chromakopia” tour, Tyler released the first single, “Noid,” with a music video that features actress Ayo Edibiri as an emotional fan. The tour is still in full swing, wrapping up a series of shows in New York City before heading across North America. After that, he’ll take his performances to Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, concluding in the Philippines on September 20-21.
Recently, Tyler also made waves with a feature on the Clipse’s album “Let God Sort Em Out,” where he honored the duo by bringing their debut vinyl on stage.
As Tyler continues to evolve as an artist, he remains a significant figure in modern hip-hop, known for his creativity and dynamic performances. His ability to surprise fans keeps him relevant in a fast-paced music industry.
