His warm-up routine was unique—he started with abs. “My trainer, Chintu, and I decided to focus on abs first. That way, we got the warm-up and abs done at the same time,” he explained. On his first day, he managed 200 repetitions, including crunches and leg raises. Soon, he upped the challenge, eventually hitting 1,000 reps in one session!
That intense ab workout alone took nearly 55 minutes. Then he spent 90 minutes on strength training, targeting different muscle groups, and wrapped up with an hour of cardio. By the end, he was so spent he would just shower and crash.
Aamir’s incredible physique set a new standard for fitness in Indian cinema. His journey showed how dedicated actors must be to truly embody their roles. However, fitness experts caution against such extreme training routines. High-volume workouts can lead to injuries, muscle imbalances, and burnout over time.
