The Weinberg Memorial Library at the University of Scranton is gearing up for its annual book sale and needs your help! If you have clean books, CDs, or DVDs that are in good shape, consider donating them. To drop off your items, just call Melisa Gallo at 570-941-6195 to set up an appointment. Donations are welcome until Friday, April 18.
All proceeds from this event will support the Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library Endowment, which helps enhance the library’s collections and services. This sale is a team effort, organized by the Friends of the Library along with dedicated library staff and volunteers.
Mark your calendars! The book sale will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, from noon to 4 p.m. A special preview for current Friends members will be held on Friday, April 25, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come browse in the beautiful fifth-floor Heritage Room of the library.
If you want to learn more or get involved as a volunteer, reach out to Melisa Gallo, chair of the book sale committee, at 570-941-6195. To check if you’re a member of the Friends of the Library, contact Kym Fetsko at 570-941-7816. Your support makes a difference!
