Exciting Leadership Change: Scott St. Germain Joins Dream Foundation Board | Homes & Lifestyle Insights | Noozhawk

Scott St. Germain, a U.S. Army veteran, has taken a significant step by joining the Dream Foundation’s Board of Directors. This organization is unique in the country, dedicated to granting dreams for adults facing terminal illnesses.

St. Germain isn’t new to this mission. He’s been part of the Dreams for Veterans Advisory Council, focusing on helping veterans when they need support the most. His aim now is to broaden his impact, helping all Dream recipients.

“Dream Foundation provides comfort during difficult times,” St. Germain said. “I’m honored to be part of this meaningful mission.”

He has a solid educational and professional background. St. Germain graduated with a civil engineering degree from West Point and later earned a master’s in industrial engineering. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. His career led him to Genentech, a biotechnology company that has collaborated with the Dream Foundation since 2007.

At Genentech, St. Germain has driven various initiatives to enhance patient care across specific disease areas. “Scott has made a lasting impact on the Dreams for Veterans program,” said Kisa Heyer, CEO of Dream Foundation. “We are excited to have him in a more formal role as we continue to grow.”

Founded 31 years ago, Dream Foundation has fulfilled over 35,000 final dreams, giving joy and closure to those in need. It relies entirely on donations, both from individuals and corporations, without any governmental funding.

To exemplify the impact of such organizations, a recent survey by the Health Affairs journal found that emotional support can significantly improve the quality of life for terminally ill patients. Programs like the Dream Foundation bring smiles and create lasting memories, showing the importance of compassion in end-of-life care.

St. Germain’s contributions will undoubtedly help expand this vital mission, offering comfort and joy to many. For more information on how to support this cause, visit the Dream Foundation’s donation page here.
