Princeton Men’s Golf Triumphs: Wins 27th Ivy League Championship!

Princeton’s men’s golf team has claimed the Ivy League Championship for the 27th time, finishing with a commanding 17-shot lead. The final round was interrupted due to high winds, so official scores reverted to their standings after 36 holes. The team concluded at -1, while Columbia came in second at +16 and Harvard third at +21.

This victory marks Princeton’s second championship win in three years and their third in the last five tournaments. Impressively, the women’s team also won their Ivy title just a week prior, making this the fourth instance of both Princeton teams sweeping the Ivy League championships, a feat previously achieved in 2001, 2004, and 2005.

Riccardo Fantinelli took home individual medalist honors, securing a two-shot lead after the first two rounds. Remarkably, all five players from Princeton were in the top 15 after 36 holes, a first among the competing teams.
